Controlling air temperatures and keeping energy costs down in your dock/loadout areas can be largely held up by doors being left open too long or loading being too slow! Improving this without compromising on facility security or decreasing load-out times is a constant challenge for sites. Overall, maintaining safety for all users must be the highest priority and requires planning.
Common Dock/Loadout Problems:
- =Losing controlled air
- =Struggling to maintain inside temperatures
- =Doors left open
- =Sufficient security on dock areas?
- =Safety risks in load-out operation
- =Bottlenecks at dock areas
Insulated Sectional Doors
Great for situations where side clearance is limited. The Insulated verti-lift sectional door provides a 100% sealed door system with an amazing R-Value of 4.8 and when powered by an electric motor, simply automatically lifts up out of the way of the opening.
Refrigerated Transport Barriers
Sliding PVC strip curtain mounted inside your transport vehicle dramatically helps reduce energy costs by reducing refrigerated area size and preventing temperature loss during truck unloading /loading. Can be used to create different temperature zones within the truck. Fully compliant with regulations for food transport.
Dock Seals
The dock seals philosophy was designed to stop the precious chilled air escaping and/or external elements gaining entry while loading and unloading trucks – to surround truck to allow absolute minimum transfer of air, or external particles including rain – a logical proven innovation.

Dirt Ingress on Main Doorway
This site had a problem with the warehouse becoming too affected by the weather. It was coming in the main entry door. This was a very busy doorway, so the roller door could not be kept shut. They had previously installed stripcurtains, but they were only partially effective, very dirty and hard to see through. Concept provided a solution with reducing the overall doorway size – infilling the excess – then installing a fast acting door and also a PA door to separate the foot traffic from forklift traffic.
Installation of the swing doors was completed with little fuss and interruption to our operations .All aspects of the project through quotation, in installation and after service have been excellent”
