SYDNEY LORETTO SCHOOL

QOH architects have incorporated Millboard Enhanced Grain Coppered Oak external flooring and fascia board to areas in the recently refurbished LORETTO school in Normanhurst NSW.

Millboard was chosen due to its natural timber look and the non-porous surface means that any food that children spill will simply wash off leaving no staining! Being a school environment meant it had to be slip rated and of course Millboard passed the test easily. Not having to maintain the decking is a clear winner for the School.

Great work QOH and Gledhill constructions keep it up!

MOSMAN PARK HOME

This new home by Imperial Homes in Mosman Park has incorporated the Millboard Coppered Oak on the outside deck. This magnificent area overlooks the Swan River.

The builder and client chose Millboard because of its realistic to timber look and the fact there is no fade or deterioration with Millboard.

Above the pool area Millboard lining board was used. With waterproof black ply behind and the boards laid with a 10mm gap this provides a really warm timber atmosphere. Best of all it the spider webs can simply be hosed down as the Millboard will not be affected by water!

COMMERCIAL PARK

Concept Products, in conjunction with the City of Bunbury and Goomburrup Aboriginal Corporation, has designed the
Noongar Memorial Park. This landscaping project was built to acknowledge Noongar associations with Bunbury and
commemorate past generations.
The project brief called for a low-maintenance, natural-looking deck that would fit in with the beachside surroundings.
Concept Products has used Millboard Weathered Oak in ‘Vintage Oak’, cast in moulds of old jetty timbers to create the
ideal rustic-look. The final product is a functional area where the community can walk and enjoy the view.
Millboard decking provides a low-maintenance, hardwearing product with no timber fibre. It is moulded onto real
timber lengths to create a remarkable replica. Millboard decking is non-porous, meaning liquid spills are not
absorbed into the decking and the product will not stain. The decking is an excellent long-term investment as there
are no warped timbers to replace and no need to oil the deck.
